Daniel Schnyder & Strings is one of composer and jazz musician Daniel Schnyder's favourite projects. The extraordinary combination with Raetus Flisch on bass, Tony Renold on drums and the Archos String Quartet allows him to explore an entire musical world and thus points a possible way forward for jazz and chamber music alike. In doing so, he uses a sound language that the audience immediately understands and is familiar with, and lets it shine in new colours and forms with the means of jazz.
