«EMOTIONAL GANGSTER» POPA CHUBBY

Popa Chubby, officially known as Ted Horowitz, is a genuine son of New York City. He was born in the Bronx in 1960 and grew up there with the sound of the early 60’s, especially Soul and R&B. His music was also shaped through the influences of the Big Apple: with his razor-sharp, biting guitar and his abilities as a songwriter, Popa Chubby combines Blues with Rock, Rap and Soul.
Following his album «Tinfoil Hat» (2021) he has recently released a new studio album named «Emotional Gangster». In addition to own compositions such as «Equal Opportunity», it features special cover versions such as «Hoochie Coochie Man» and «Dust My Broom», on which Popa Chubby pays respect to the Fathers of the Blues.
